Game 1 Summary- Fennville vs Holland Calvary

WIN 6?-3?

The Ladyhawks played an outstanding game against Calvary.  Tough defense and teamwork gave Fennville a sunstantial lead at half time. The girls continued to play hard and together in the win against Calvary. Amber Van Wieren scored a game high 27 points and Shannon Turner added 11 respectively. Hannah McFarland ended with 10 points and Alyssa Alfaro added 9.

Game 2 Summary - Fennville vs Decatur

WIN 5?-3?

The gym was packed for the intense competition between the Blackhawks and the Raiders.  Again the Blackhawks worked well together and communicated with eachother on defense. The Ladyhawks showed an explosive offense in the win agianst the Raiders.

Game 3 Summary- Fennville vs Lawton

LOSS

The Ladyhawks were outsized by the Blue Devils but played hard.  Fennville struggled on offense, but with gritty hard nosed defense the Hawks were able to keep it close.

Game 4 Summary- Fennville vs Waterviliet

LOSS 21-28

It was a hard fought game agianst  a top contender for the S.A.C.  Although the Ladyhawks fell short of victory, the exhibited great defense only allowing 28 points. Fennville could not get anything going on offense and it showed in the score. The Hawks worked well together and hope to meet Waterviliet again in the S.A.C. crossover.

Game 5 Summary Fennville vs Lawrence

WIN

The Blackhawks improved thier record to 3-2 win the win against the Tigers.  They started the game slow and and had a tough time pumping up the intensity on both sides of the ball in the first half, leading by only two points going into the break.  The Blackhawks got fired up in the locker room and spurted a 9-0 run going into the third quarter.  The Blackhawks ended the game with a ten point lead. Good job ladies.
